  17. <p>     If there's anyone who should know how to guard against
  18. leaks, it's John Martin, chief of internal security at the
  19. Justice Department. Yet Martin went home from the office one
  20. night in April, leaving a thick pile of supersensitive documents
  21. on the Iran-contra affair sitting on his desk. A routine
  22. security sweep that night revealed his carelessness and earned
  23. Martin an immediate suspension. Justice insiders say Martin may
  24. receive further punishment for the accidental security breach
  25. but will probably be able to return to his job.
